Over the last few weeks, I’ve written about how American Express is running higher than usual credit card bonuses on their co-branded credit cards with both Marriott Bonvoy and Delta. It seems like we may soon have brand new Hilton co-branded credit card bonuses.

New Amex Credit Card Bonuses?

As per DDG & US Credit Card Guide, brand new credit cards bonuses could soon be live from Amex. These are the co-branded welcome bonuses that we also saw with Hilton Honors last year as well. A few times every year, Amex increases the welcome bonuses on their co-branded Hilton credit cards. At certain times of the year, Amex offers bonuses which are primarily higher points offer. During other times, there are offers that also give you the opportunity to earn some points and free night certificates. As per these links on US Credit Guide, it seems like these offers will indeed give you the opportunity to earn free night certificates.

These links are showing expiry dates of April 15,2026. Some examples of these offers look like this:

  • No annual fee Hilton Honors Card: Earn 70,000 Hilton Honors points and 1 free night certificate after you spend $2,500 in the first six months of card membership
  • Hilton Surpass Card: Earn 130,000 Hilton Honors points and 1 free night certificate after you spend $3,000 in the first six months of card membership
  • Hilton Aspire Card: Earn 175,000 Hilton Honors points and 1 free night certificate

The Pundit’s Mantra

Overall, I really like these offers compared to the usual offers that give you Hilton Honors points. Firstly, once you earn a free night certificate, you can redeem it at any Hilton properties, as long as a standard room is available. Over the years, I’ve used my Hilton free night certificates to book some memorable stays at properties like the Waldorf Astoria Rome and Conrad Maldives.

The only downside with these offers is that once the free night certificate is issued, it expires after one year.

Once these offers become live, I may just be temped to go for one of these bonuses, possible the Hilton Surpass card. Do you prefer Hilton points offers over offers that let you earn free night certificates? Tell us in the comments section.
