Just yesterday, I wrote about a brand new Andaz property that has opened in Lisbon, Portugal. The property marks further expansion of the Andaz brand in Europe, which already has a pretty sizable presence in the continent. Now, the hotel chain has announced plans for a 650-room resort in Punta Cana, one of the most popular beach destinations in the Caribbean. The upcoming property, Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana — is expected to open in 2029 and will be part of Hyatt’s rapidly growing all-inclusive portfolio.

The Pundit’s Mantra

Since this property will only be open in 2029, the property will be subject to higher Hyatt points pricing after the devaluation kicks in at some point of time in May this year. If you’re looking to book a Hyatt points stay later this year, then it would be prudent to make your points booking before the higher prices kick in. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
