Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you’re having a great time with your family and loved ones. I’m capping off a year with some really good travel and looking forward to a trip to Vietnam at end of the year, between Christmas and New Years. I’m also in the process of figuring out my travel plans for 2026 and I’m really temped to transfer some Chase points over to Air Canada Aeroplan at the moment, given that there’s a juicy points transfer bonus of up to 35%.

The Pundit’s Mantra

Obviously, this is not a fully exhaustive list of travel deals. I’m nibbling at some shopping deals here and there during Thanksgiving, buying some electronics and peripherals. Since I already have travel booked for the holiday season this year and for early next year, I’m not really looking to jump on any specific travel deals.

Bear in mind that just because a hotel or an airline is offering a discount, it may not always be the best deal. It’s always prudent to see if that new ‘deal’ you see on Black Friday aligns with travel plans you’re planning to make anyway. No point in chasing deals if you never had the intention to fly that airline or stay at that hotel in the first place.

In addition to all the deals on Black Friday, there are also some really good points transfer bonuses currently running, thanks to American Express Membership Rewards points and Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

Which is the best travel deal that you’ve booked so far during Thanksgiving 2025? Tell us in the comments section.
