While the Amex Platinum Card carries a very high annual fee, some targeted offers are being sent out, offering as many as 175,000 points. However, there are some really poor offers floating around as well. That & more as we wrap up some of the stories covered in the week gone by.

A Ridiculous Welcome Bonus on the Amex Platinum Card

After Amex reffreshed the Amex Platinum Card last fall, they started offering a variable welcome bonus. So, you actually have to input your details and a customized offer shows up for you. For certain users, some really low welcome bonus offers are showing up. These offers are best to just simply avoid, given Amex’s strict rules pertaining to getting the welcome bonus on the same card again and again.

New Chase Sapphire Bonus Rules Now Into Effect

Chase has recently updated the rules for getting the bonus once again on their Sapphire cards. Earlier, if you got the welcome bonus on one card, then it would lock you our from getting the welcome bonus on the other Sapphire card. This rule has now been relaxed by Chase.

Earn 100,000 points! Chase Ink Business Preferred Card Review

This offer is still around. For a card that charges an annaul fee of jusr $95, you can currently earn a welcome bonus of 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points once you’re approved for and then meet the minimum spend requirement on the Chase Ink Business Preferred Card.

Monkey MIles: Here are all February transfer bonuses

February has started and there are new points transfer bonuses on offer. Check out this post by Monkey Miles. One bonus I’d like to here is the most recent one by Chase. Currently, you can convert Chase points into Marriott Bonvoy points with a bonus of 50%. In essence, the transfer ratio during the promo period will be 1:1.5 from Chase to Marriott Bonvoy.
