If you have the same version of the Amex Platinum card as I do, then there’s every chance that you’re seeing the same issue as well. If you are, then you must call American Express so that they can fix the issue as soon as possible.

After Alaska airlines acquired Hawaiian Airlines, Amex cardmembers have enjoyed a sweet window during which they can effectively convert their Membership Rewards points into Alaska Airlines miles, given that Hawaiian Airlines is a 1:1 transfer partner. Now, it does seem that this window is about to close soon on Jun 30, 2025.

While the exact reimbursement policies differ by program, here’s the general concept:
