Over the last few years, American Express has revamped many of their credit cards. American Express has also made changes to their co-branded Delta SkyMiles credit cards. These changes have also been accompanied with annual fee increases and the additions of new statement credits with partner merchants.

The Pundit’s Mantra

This comes as no surprise. The issuer is simply closing loopholes where they existed. Issuers these days have enough tech at their disposal to close these loopholes. As a cardmember, I usually refrain from doing any purchases which may be bordering on the lines of behavior that and issuer may take umbrage to.

However, if you’re eligible and plan to fly Delta pretty soon, then these welcome bonuses will go a long way in helping you plan your next trip. These limited time offers on these Delta credit cards will expire on April 1, 2026.
