According to this thread on FlyerTalk, you can get instantly matched to Hertz President’s Circle Status, just by going to the link below and filling out the form.
Free Hertz President’s Circle Status
This promotion is being offered as a status match for Nordic Choice Club Platinum members, but it is currently working for anyone who applies. I filled out the form a few days ago and received complementary President’s Circle Status today.
President’s Circle Status comes with the following benefits and is generally earned through 20 or more Car Rentals
$4000 or more Spent on Car Rentals within a 12 month period. Ignore the expiration date in the image below, I borrowed it from an old Points Miles and Martinis post.
Final Thoughts
Judge for yourself if this is something you want to take advantage of if you don’t have status with this hotel chain. I don’t know how long the promotion will last or when the status expires, but it’s a great deal if you decide to jump on it. You can also leverage President’s Circle to match to National Executive Elite or Enterprise Platinum. Unfortunately, if you try to match to Avis, you will only be given Preferred Plus.

REVOKED! In case anyone checks back on this thread, I used this trick to bump from 5-star to PC. Showed up on my account a few days later yay!
Today I checked Hertz account again after registering for a promo to get 25 points, and I’m back to 5-star again. So I guess someone caught on and reverted the change.

Hertz PC status is virtually worthless. That’s why they give it away for free. Don’t waste your time.

Presidents Circle with Hertz is of diminishing value. I have been PC for 10 years and paid for not free this coming year I will not renew. Just not what it was once was.
Thanks for the insight. That’s what I’ve read on FlyerTalk, but I’ll probably just use PC to match to National Executive Elite. I rent from them more.
You also get Hertz President’s Circle for free if you are a Delta Platinum or Diamond Medallion!

The rental car co’s will give you a one “bump up” however they have so damn many classes now it’s more smoke and mirrors than anything.
