It seems like yesterday to me. Really, it does. Other than a little more weight, and a little less hair, I look about the same. But believe me, I’m different. Is it possible to be more jaded, but more concerned for others at the same time? It must be, because I’m all of that. I’ve blogged about the events of that day before, so I won’t repeat it here. It’s been 10 years, and I’m just as angry today as I was then. But one thing I’ll never be is afraid. I will continue to do the things I did before and have been doing since then. I will fly, I will cruise, and I will explore new things. No terrorist will ever take that away from me. I’ll also never forget, nor should you.

Thanks for sharing! I completely agree! Fear is what terrorist love! If they can instill fear in their victims they’ve won. Not me!!
My family was about to fly to Europe last year when terrorist threats were being made & security levels were raised. I had neighbors come over and asked if we were still going on our trip to Germany. My reply was “Of course”. I didn’t feel I was taking my children directing into a dangerous environment and risking their safety. I wasn’t going to cancel our 3 week family vacation because some terrorist decided to start broadcasting threats.
I was wise though. I check the U.S. governments site to see if any travel warnings had been issued and they weren’t. So off we headed and had a fabulous trip.
I would just encourage all Americans to not live in fear but you wisdom & discernment in the choices you make. Keep your head up and your eyes open to what is happening around you.
Thanks for sharing. Your thoughts were so appreciated!
God Bless!
