New American Express Credit Card
Doctor of Credit points out this reel posted by Amex, possibly teasing a brand new credit card. As per discussions on US Credit Card Forum and Reddit, here some some of the possible features being circulated.
- Card Name: American Express Graphite Business Cash Unlimited Card
- 2% cash back on all purchases
- $250 annual fee
- 5% cash back on flights and prepaid hotels booked via American Express travel
The Pundit’s Mantra
Personally, I don’t find this new product interesting, especially for a steep annual fee of $250 I’m not a cash back guy and always prefer earning points over cash back any day. I’d prefer the Blue Business Plus Card any day. The card charges no annual fee whatsoever. Moreover, I can earn 2x Membership Rewards points on all purchases.
However, this card may be useful for business owners who prefer cash back and spend a lot of money via American Express travel. What do you think about this rumored new credit card by American Express? Tell us in the comments section,

What American Express need to do for it’s Platinum is offer a $300 account credit like Chase Sapphire instead of some otv those worthless benefits. People like me would be more willing to to pay that $895 fee.
I don’t mind the AmEx Platinum benefits. The program encourages its members to get out there and experience the many travel, dining, and entertainment options available instead of the boring account credit where its value is just that—credit. My girlfriend and I both have the Platinum cards and we take turns using up our benefits for date nights, transportation, and more recently paying for a portion of our Christmas holiday in Germany, and my yearly solo trip to U.K./Japan/Philippines. The annual membership pays for itself and more.
You forgot yo mention that the 2x on the business card is only on the first $50k of spend.
