Earlier this week, I wrote about the increased welcome bonuses on the co-branded Delta credit cards by American Express. While poking around the Amex website today, another offer caught my attention. At the moment, you can earn a welcome bonus of 130,000 Membership Rewards points with this offer on the Business Gold Card.

With this offer, you’ll earn a welcome bonus of 130,000 Membership Rewards points after you spend $10,000 in the first 3 months of card membership. Bear in mind that this offer does include Amex’s ‘once in a lifetime language’.

You can earn 130,000 Membership Rewards points after you make $10,000 (the “Threshold Amount”) or more of eligible purchases on your Business Gold Card during the first 3 months of Card Membership, starting from the date your account is approved. Eligible purchases can be made by the Basic Card Member and any Employee Card Members on a single Card Account. Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases to meet the Threshold Amount do NOT include fees or interest charges, purchases of traveler’s checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Limit one offer per Card Account. Offer may not be combined with any other special offer. Your Card account must not be canceled or past due at the time of fulfillment of any offers. Membership Rewards® points will be credited to your account 8-12 weeks after you have met the Threshold Amount.
I was able to view this offer via a referral link. I’d recommend that you clear your browser history or cookies before trying to access this offer. In my experience, I was able to view this offer in the incognito mode in Chrome. However, when I switched browsers, I was not able to access the 130,000 points offer.

The Pundit’s Mantra
If you’re eligible, then the 130,000 Membership Rewards points welcome bonus is a fantastic offer to keep adding to your existing stockpile of Membership Rewards points. Since I already have this card, I won’t be going for this offer.
However, if you’re looking to get a co-branded Amex card, then the Delta and Hilton credit card offers may interest you.
