Last month, the Chase Sapphire Reserve was relaunched with much fanfare. I wrote about why I’m not jumping on to the bandwagon and holding on to my Chase Sapphire Preferred card. As per reports on Reddit, Chase is targeting customers via mail and sending them targeted welcome bonus offers of 100,00 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points.

Targeted Chase Sapphire Preferred Offers via Mail

As per this thread on Reddit, some customers are receiving targeted offers via mail, offering 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

At the moment, the public offer for the card is for 75,000 points. You’ll earn 75,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months of card membership.

The Pundit’s Mantra

Overall, this is a great offer is you’ve been targeted. I already have the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, so there’s no way I’ll be targeted for this offer.

However, if you qualify, then you can also earn 100,000 bonus points and a $500 travel credit with this limited time offer on the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Also, Chase’s brand new business credit card, the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business, is offering a welcome bonus of 200,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points.
