I’m not a fan of taking photos of airline lounges when there are other people in the picture (which is why the hideously packed and ugly Admirals Club in Charlotte never gets a review from me!). However, I like knowing what’s for breakfast in a lounge and you can usually snap the food without people in the shot, so here we are.

When I passed through Miami recently, I really enjoyed the food available in the American Airlines Flagship Lounge. Here’s a little look at some of the yummy items available to start your day.

Here’s What’s For Breakfast

After passing through security, I headed straight for the lounge. As I was hungry, I beelined for the dining area and set about deciding what to eat. It seems they are catering to the local clientele with some of these which is nice to see.

Once I had my food, I headed back to the entrance to get a glass of Piper-Heidsieck from the Champagne lady. It’s always nice to treat yourself to a Champagne breakfast. You can see the first course at the top of this article.

Flagship Lounge Miami

I’ve been on a bit of a Flagship Lounge binge lately, visiting New York in February 2022, Los Angeles in April the same year, and Chicago in October. All of them offer a similar experience, which is nice to see.

Remember when I said I didn’t like taking pictures when others were in the shot? Well, that explains why I was able to get such good pictures of the Men’s facilities. It was probably the quietest place in the lounge!

Overall Thoughts

There’s some good eating for breakfast in the American Airlines Flagship Lounge in Miami. I thoroughly enjoyed all the food I ate, even if it was after 9am that I arrived.

What I didn’t mention is that they have a person who was cooking eggs and omelettes to order. Usually I would have been all over something like that but I was pretty tired when there. That’s my excuse anyway!
