Selecting a seat based on the amount of windows you will get is definitely a thing, and if it isn’t, it is now. Aircraft always have a missing window or two, and seat arrangements mean some people get more windows than others.

On a recent long overnight flight on a Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER, I decided to get pictures of all the rows. This handy pictorial guide should let you pick the best seats when next flying business class Qsuites on the oneworld alliance carrier.

Business Class Qsuite Windows

There were just seven passengers on my flight, thanks to the pandemic and other restrictions. This made photography easy, though I missed rows five and nine as people sat in these seats on both sides. So, let’s have a look then, shall we?

Window lovers should be trying to snag something in rows one and three, it seems. Avoid row six at all costs, unless you’re someone who doesn’t care to look outside when flying!

Overall Thoughts

While a Boeing 777-300ER doesn’t have the largest plane windows around, it is still worth getting as many as you can. You never know what views might be passing by when you’re flying.

Happily nobody caught me randomly taking photos of random seats during the flight, not that it took long. I was hardly pausing to get a perfect shot for aesthetic reasons. It was very much a case of snap and go to meet my brief.

I’m curious, do you check the window alignment before selecting a seat? Or is that just total over the top madness? Thank you for reading and if you have any comments or questions, please leave them below.
