Another week has gone by and its time for me to summarize this week’s posts for those who have missed out. Links are provided to each one for curiosity.
This was another quiet week for me because I was on my trip to Arizona. I did not have much time to blog.
Without further ado, here’s the weekly review:
This April Fools’ Day post was a change of pace for me. I normally recommend cards given a certain category, circumstance, or scenario in my “Best Cards” posts. But this one went the other direction. Sometimes the best advice is to know what NOT to do. The intent of this post is just that.
Getting back on track, I wrote about some of my favorite cards for concerts and entertainment. These two less common categories could really make a vacation memorable. But the trick is to find the right card(s). Entertainment insurances are common with Citi cards, but not other cards. The only other non-Citi card to have entertainment-related benefits is the American Express Platinum.
Card Wars: American Express Platinum Card vs Hilton Aspire
This post examined two “super cards” from American Express and compared their benefits. The former is Amex’s top charge card (for most people) and the latter is Hilton’s top tier hotel card. A winner can be chosen from your travel needs and willingness to pay high annual fees for positive expected value.
I hope that everyone has a great Sunday! Stay posted for more content next week!
