This is a guest post from my friend Lauren, who was connecting in MSP last month in March 2021 and kind enough to share her experience.

Background:

The only Priority Pass option at Minneapolis St. Paul is the PGA MSP Lounge located in Terminal One. It is a pretty unique option with a restaurant portion mixed with simulators, PGA Instruction, and putting green!

Access:

Take the stairs or elevator located between Concourses D and E (corner) up to the Upper Level. The lounge is open daily from 11:00am – 8:00pm daily.

With Priority Pass, cardholders and any registered guests will receive US$15 per person off their food OR golf experience bill. This is a bit lower than what was seen with other Priority Pass Style Restaurants that offered US$28 per person.

Experience:

The lounge was extremely spacious which was great for covid. There’s a restaurant area, separate lounge area and the golf section. I was surprised something so big like this was inside an airport.

The waiter/bartender that took my food order was so friendly and went above and beyond to find me a phone charger when I had forgotten mine! So the service was great.

There are television screens all around the lounge playing various sporting and golfing channels. The wifi was fast and allowed me to stream my Netflix show without interruption.

Since I only ordered a Caesar salad and French fries, I can’t rate the different burgers and other food options. However, my food was good for what it was! Appropriate for pricing and for a lounge.

The Caesar salad, large side of fries and a coffee and the bill came out to $21. My $15 credit applied so with tip I spent $11.

The Verdict:

Overall, I enjoyed spending time at the PGA Lounge at MSP. It was a very relaxing experience during my hour and a half layover. Much less hectic and crowded than my experience at the Delta Lounge at MSP in September 2020.
